NOTICe Board of Directors Meeting

Present: Sally Ann Greer, Ginny Hines Parry, Ernie Lehmann, Greg Ogden, Christa Watters, Roger Waud.  
Absent: Tom Soapes

President Sally Ann Greer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

The minutes of the July 11, 2011 board meeting were unanimously approved as amended.

Treasurer’s Report:  Tom Soapes was traveling in Europe.

Membership: Tom Soapes was away.

Confirmed Final Draft of Constitution and By-laws was e-mailed to all members prior to the meeting in accordance with the bylaws. Copies will also be available at the September 22 Community meeting. The board made plans to confirm voting members. Greg will issue each member a sheet of colored paper to use when voting.

September 22 Community Meeting:  The board made final arrangements for the meeting at the Old Colony Conference Center. An expanded double room is reserved. Greg will run the sign-in table. Roger will help with setup and the mikes and sound system. Sally Ann and Christa will purchase the food. Flyers will be distributed as well as e-mailed again. Social hour will be 7-7:30 followed by a brief business meeting to vote on the redrafted Constitution and By-laws. Mr. Gregory Staples of the Clean Skies organization will make a PowerPoint presentation of their concept plan for the GenOn site and then take questions from the audience.

Newsletter: The September/October issue of Take Notice was published and distributed.

Adjournment/Next meeting:  The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Christa Watters’ home.
